Notes: We were visiting the train museum with our cub scout den, so of course had to visit this cache. This is the largest container of the 177 we've found to date. Took the Scooter TB to keep it moving as requested. After taking 2 toys and leaving two toys, Pete and Sam helped us cover the container with every stick within about a 20 foot radius.

Notes: A fun hike with Sam in the "flying backpack" on dad/Sam date. No trail from these condos to the WOD, so we took the drainage ditch to the wooded area and then bushwacked most of the way. Saw an interesting ladder and hunters chair by the creek. Fortunately, we found it pretty quickly once we got close. Went afterwards to the new "double playground" across the street for a few hours.

Notes: A painful puzzle multi-cache. "Solved" it the night it came out, but met Gaiter Man and Nondescript later that evening at another cache location where we agreed that it could not be at any of the obvious locations. Finally figured it out after a minor hint from GLM. Went to stage 1, wrote down coordinates, had to go all the way back later to stage 2 (which was right in the same parking lot). Sam stayed in the car as I grabbed the final and signed the log, while Pete was at karate class.

Notes: This turned into an interesting adventure. Dropped Christy off at Wal-Mart, then went with Sam and Pete as it was getting dark. Sam walked almost the whole way. First Pete wandered a bit off course and spotted something in a tree stump right along one of the trails, although the GPS said 200+ feet away. This turned out to be a letterbox called "He Made Me Do It". This is the second time this year we have stumbled onto a letterbox while caching. Getting darker, we continued and located a cache labeled "Red Rock Corner", which apparently is this cache. Took a golf ball and glow stick, left three toys. We had a wonderful time.
